imagination

August 24, 2009August 25, 2009 digLeave a comment

I am always looking for good tools to do slideshows. Imagination so far delivers clean good quality video, I like the fact that it works of sox and ffmpeg; it outputs flv, ogv and vob.

P.S. The ogg video in this post was made with imagination.  The Free Software Foundation advocates the merits of ogg and html5, which I support.

Zadie Smith on voice

February 14, 2009February 14, 2009 dig

I just finish reading Speaking in Tongues by Zadie Smith, an essay based on a lecture from December 2008. I love this text; I love this idea of the multiplicity of voice, the role of poets, playwrights and ineffective but yet brilliant politicians.

This is a manifesto.
